Kamchatka Peninsula
2024
I’ve always dreamed of visiting Kamchatka. For some reason, though, it stayed filed away under “someday” for the longest time — that far-off dream that always felt a little too wild, a little too distant.
Until June 2024, when I finally moved it to the "planning department." (Building "unreachable" dreams into reality might just be my favorite hobby).
Long story short: there are so many places in the world I've yet to step foot in, and comparatively few I've already explored — but Kamchatka, like Brazil and Sri Lanka, has already carved out a special little corner in my heart.

Moscow
HOME
The place where I waited for buses in the snow, counted metro stations like chapters in a book, and walked through late summer evenings that smelled like linden trees and warm asphalt.
I grew up with its rhythm — the steady hum of morning rush hours, the silence of snow falling on old courtyards, the echo of footsteps in underground tunnels painted with light and stone. I didn’t notice the beauty back then. It was just there, part of the background.
There are corners I always return to — a small coffee shop on a side street, quiet alleys with peeling pastel facades, rooftops where the city feels softer, almost tender. There is always movement, but never too fast to miss the moment.
Moscow holds all my firsts. First metro ride, first heartbreak, first feeling of being small in a big, living world. Its warmth is in the people, in long conversations over tea, in the way the city wraps around.
It’s not a postcard. It’s a memory that breathes.

Karelia
2025
Karelia...
What a breathtaking slice of Mama Russia. This land feels like a page torn straight out of a Christmas fairytale — endless forests, majestic deer roaming freely, and that crisp, snow-kissed charm lingering in the air.
Karelia weaves together Russian warmth with a hint of Finnish spirit, creating a cultural tapestry as rich and layered as its landscapes.
I never imagined Karelia would capture my heart the way it did.
A little piece of magic — and without a doubt, my personal discovery of 2025.
